Youssef Fahmi Idrissi is a Moroccan singer-songwriter, producer, actor, and multi-instrumentalist.
Born in Morocco, he shaped a unique artistic identity by blending the depth of Moroccan tradition with modern influences from pop, soul, and world music.
He began his career with the group Azzar, releasing notable tracks such as Lalla — the theme song for the Moroccan film Abou Amal — as well as Wow Bladi featuring Houda Saad, and Lwalidin, all produced under his independent label Night Sound Production, founded in France.
Youssef has lived in Switzerland, Italy, and France, and spent three impactful years in Egypt, where his artistic journey expanded through deep cultural and musical exploration.
On Moroccan television, Youssef appeared in popular shows such as Studio 2M, Ajial (2M), and Comédia (RTM, now Al Aoula), solidifying his place on the national music scene.
An artist of many talents, Youssef also ventured into acting, playing a police inspector in the Egyptian feature film رحلة يوسف (Rehlat Youssef).
As a producer and independent creator, he later launched News TV Music and his own studio, YooStood, where he produced solo projects like Ramadan Ya Habib, Happy New Year 2025, Asgas Ambarki, and a reimagined version of the Moroccan national anthem, Nachid Al Watani Maroc.
In 2025, he unveiled an ambitious project titled Wana Maghribi — a musical and visual tribute to Moroccan identity, featuring the artist Bakho Tikawa and a rising generation of Moroccan talent.
With over 20 years of professional experience, performances in 8 countries, and a career spanning music, event production, cinema, and cultural storytelling, Youssef Fahmi Idrissi continues to inspire, connect, and innovate — through sound, soul, and meaningful creation.
